Anxiety is a state of mental health characterized by fear and worry. It is a normal part of one’s life if it is infrequent and episodic, but if it is persistent and continuous, then you should consider seeking immediate treatment so that it doesn’t increase.
Symptoms:-
1.) Heart Palpitations: – Increased heart rate (known as palpitations) come into existence due to anxiety. Increased heart palpitations make the patient think that he will suffer a heart attack or something along with a feeling of pounding in the chest area as well.
2.) Excessive Sweating: – A patient suffering from anxiety sweats a lot in general. Whenever a patient gets anxious, he/she begins to sweat very much and as the patient sees the people are watching him or her sweating, he/she becomes more and more anxious.
3.) Tremors: -Anxiety can cause hand tremors as well as tremors in other parts of the body along with shakiness.
4.) Frequent Urination: -This is another common symptom of anxiety. Stress and anxiety can be responsible in a patient’s frequent urge to urinate again and again. This can also happen at midnight disturbing your sleep cycle.
5.) Headaches: – Anxiety and excessive worry can cause different kinds of headaches. These are mostly because of tension and excessive. Other kinds of headaches may be because of lack of sleep and migraines.
Causes: -
Relationship Issues, Genetic Factors, Burden of Work and burden of academic work, Traumatic events in the past.
Treatment (Self Treatment)
1.) Exercise Regularly: – You can do any sort of cardio exercise that you enjoy along with some weight training. Exercise is as effective as medication if not more for treating anxiety.
2.) Get Enough sleep: – In order to fight anxiety and get rid of stress you should take eight hours of sleep daily.
3.) Stay connected to your loved ones: – Try to stay be with people who love you and care for you such as your parents, siblings, best friend, wife or anyone who cares for you.
4.) Meditation: – Mediating can reduce and help you fight against anxiety drastically. Meditation makes us calm and peaceful. It makes me quite reposeful and was one of my biggest weapons to beat my anxiety disorder as well as my bipolar disorder.
5.) Follow your hobbies: – I loved roasting my friends and writing my comedy scripts in order to ease of my anxiety and practiced singing and did boxing in my boxing gym to be Mike Tyson of my city. What’s your favorite hobby? Just go for it and indulge in your hobbies and they will help you to overcome anxiety.
